Only 3 Puppies Remain!

This picture is of our cat Miss Kitty. She snuggled up one night with a BB gun....I guess eight puppies had really started getting to her!


We only have three of our beautiful babies left! We have been so fortunate to have the five puppies we have sold go to WONDERFUL homes! It is such a hard job to let the puppies go after loving them and being so attached, but when people who you know will truly love and care for the dogs get to be the puppies new "forever" home, you get a great feeling! We have had follow up calls and emails from them and everyone seems to be happy and doing well!

Puppies Are Ready For New Homes!

The puppies are ready to find their new "forever" homes! They will be 6 weeks old on Tuesday December 9th. All of the puppies are eating solids for each meal except for the nursing they still do for comfort.

I have posted pictures of the puppies from this afternoon, however a 6 week old puppy is much too "busy" to sit and pose for a picture. Colby tried to hold them for me so that I could get some facial shots, but they are not all great pictures. I am so sorry! If there is a specific puppy you are interested in please contact me and I will take more pictures and send them to you!



We lost another puppy two weeks ago to under development. It is believed that they puppy got no colostrum during those first few vital hours after birth. We now have 6 females and 2 males remaining.

Puppies Start Eating Food!

This week we started the puppies having a meal once a day made up of milk replacer and dog food that was mashed up for easy chewing.........I think the technical term is "gruel" but I'm not a technical person! They did so well eating and have really grown!

I have posted some pictures of Colby with the puppies. One is taken with two puppies and Colby in the bed. He snuck them into the bedroom for a "nap" the other day and I had to capture the cute moment!

On a rather sad note, we lost one of the puppies today. It was one of the smaller ones. Yesterday it was fine, but when we went out to check them this afternoon it had passed away. It broke my heart, but I have to focus on the other beautiful nine puppies we have to take care of!

Puppy Update

Today we had to make a big decision with two of the puppies. They were not gaining weight as well as the other eight and Jeremy noticed today that Mama wasn't having much to do with the two runts. We went to visit the vet and he suggested starting them on milk replacer. We are now feeding the two puppies every three hours to help them grow appropriately. This is going to be a challenge, but we want our puppies to do well!

All Is Well

The puppies now have thier eyes open and everyone's tail has healed up nicely. They are doing very well and growing like weeds!
